Why it matters

The DPDP Act is not a formality.

It applies to almost every business in India. Even one phone number from a contact form counts.

₹250 crore

Maximum penalty for failing to protect personal data.

₹200 crore

Maximum penalty for not reporting a data breach.

72 hours

To send the Data Protection Board a full report after a breach.

13 May 2027

When every core duty applies. The Board is already set up.

Where most websites stand today, and what HighPre changes.

  • Today: Google Analytics and ad pixels load before anyone agrees.

With HighPre: Nothing tracks a visitor until they say yes.

  • Today: No privacy notice, or one copied from another site.

With HighPre: A clear notice written for you, in your visitor's language.

  • Today: No proof of who agreed to what.

With HighPre: Every choice saved with the exact notice they saw.

  • Today: Data requests get lost in someone's inbox.

With HighPre: One inbox, every deadline tracked, reminders before it's late.

  • Today: Staff paste customer data into ChatGPT.

With HighPre: A warning before it happens, and an alert for you.

  • Consent tick boxes on your forms
  • Public privacy page and badge
  • Checked again every week
The person is warned. The owner sees what kind of data, never the data itself.

Your team

  • Catches private data before it reaches AI or chat apps
  • Checks files before they're shared
  • Hides card and ID numbers in one click
  • See which AI tools your company uses
  • One installer for every company computer

For your team

Protects your team. Doesn't watch them.

Most leaks are honest mistakes: a spreadsheet dropped into ChatGPT, a card number pasted in WhatsApp. HighPre catches them in the moment, kindly.

The person is warned. The owner sees what kind of data, never the data itself.
Asks before it's pasted

Checks files before they're shared

Customer lists, invoices and ID scans get a quick check before they reach an AI tool, chat or WeTransfer.

Hides private details, keeps work moving

One click sends the message with card, phone and Aadhaar numbers masked. No blocking, no friction.

See which AI tools your company uses

Company totals only, like "12 people use ChatGPT". Never who, never what they typed.

Know every computer is covered

A heads-up if a laptop stops checking in or HighPre is removed, plus a short weekly summary.

  • Your employee sees

A friendly heads-up before a mistake, and the choice to hide the details.

  • You see

What kind of data, which app and what they chose. Plus company totals.

  • HighPre never sees

Messages, files, browsing history or screens. Checks run on the computer.

Six things the law asks. HighPre handles each one.

Tell people what you collect and why.
We draft a clear notice for each purpose, in up to eight Indian languages, and keep every version.
Ask before you collect.
A consent banner that holds back trackers until people agree, with an equally easy way to say no.
Prove it later.
Every decision is logged with the exact notice version shown. Export the ledger anytime.
Answer requests to access, correct or erase data.
An email-verified request page for your visitors and an inbox that tracks every due date.
Report breaches quickly.
A guided checklist with the 72-hour reporting clock built in, and email reminders before it runs out.
Protect children's data.
An optional age check, verified parental consent, and tracking switched off for under-18s.

Ready in an afternoon.

No consultants, no legal jargon. Three steps, in this order.

  1. 1

    Scan your website

Type your address. We show what it collects and what's missing.

  2. 2

    Answer a few questions

Why you collect each kind of data. We write your privacy notice from that.

  3. 3

    Paste one line

Add it to your website once. Switch everything else on from your dashboard.

Questions people ask first

Does the DPDP Act apply to my business?

Very likely. It covers organisations that process digital personal data of people in India — a phone number from an enquiry form counts. There is no general exemption for small businesses.

When do I need to be compliant?

The core obligations — notice, consent, rights and breach reporting — apply from 13 May 2027. The Data Protection Board is already set up and accepting complaints.

What happens if I ignore it?

Penalties go up to ₹250 crore for failing to protect personal data and up to ₹200 crore for not reporting a breach. Most businesses will feel it first as complaints from customers and questions from larger clients.

Is HighPre a registered Consent Manager?

No. Under DPDP a Consent Manager is a separately registered intermediary. HighPre is software your business uses to collect, record and honour consent itself.

Do you store my visitors' IP addresses?

No. The banner identifies a visitor with a random ID it creates, and IP addresses are stored only as salted hashes. We don't fingerprint anyone.

Is this legal advice?

No. HighPre gives you the tools and templates to meet DPDP requirements. For decisions specific to your business, speak to a lawyer.

What does it cost?

One website is free forever. Paid plans start at ₹999 a month plus GST for more websites, teammates, all eight languages and the PDF evidence pack. See pricing above.
